Chennai: The first hero and veteran actor Jayalalithaa, Srikanth, age 81, died here on Tuesday.
His death was first announced by Nadigar Sangam (actor association) late at night.
The Chairperson of the Constitutional Court Minister Stalin described Srikanth as a versatile actor and spent his death.
Given the role of Srikanth in Bhairavi and Thanga Pathakkam, among other films, Stalin said he shared a personal relationship with Srikanth, because he was also a neighbor.
Srikanth debuted with Jayalalithaa in Venniara Aya (1965) and continued to carry out an unforgettable role in a series of classics in Balakdar such as Bama Vijayam, Poovaa Thalaiyaa and Ethir Neechal, besides comedy like Kaasethan Kadavulada.
Overall, he did around 50 films as a hero, and then became a criminal sought and the character of the artiste.
He did the role of full criminals in Bhairavi, who was considered the first film Rajinikanth as a hero.
Srikanth has also worked at the playing stage with a large Sundarrajan, Nagesh and K Balacherder.
‘Aduththaathu Ambashai Paathaelaa …’ The song from ‘Ethir Neechal’ is significant among millennium too.
Gaul and his attitude helped him stay in the industry.
He did not insist on being a hero alone.

Gopu said he was a close friend of Jayakanthan.

Multipurpose actors have starred with Sivaji Ganesan, Ravichandran, Muthuraman, Sivakumar, Rajinikanth and Kamalhasan, but have not acted in any film with MG Ramachandran.
Actor Srikanth worked at the US Embassy in Chennai before he was seen by the Director of CV Sridhar for ‘Vennira Aida.’ Chitralaya Gopu who has worked with him in films and drama says ‘Kasethan Kadavulada’ proves that he is an all-rounder despite doing more negative roles.
He never wanted to be part of a rat race.
Every character is good for criminals or comedians, he will give the best.
Actor Sivaji Ganesan loved him and he would try to give him one or two roles in his films.
“The Tamil Nadu Congress Committee KS Alagiri also denied Srikanth’s death and said the actor was late to have greetings for the Stalwart K Kamaraj Congress, actor Sivaji Ganesan and writer Jayakanthan.
He said the death of Srikanth was a loss for the world of film and circle of friends and fans.
