Sushant Singh Rajput’s Aide Siddharth Pithani, who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in May this year, will now apply to guarantees after the cost sheet is submitted in his case.
His lawyer Taraq Sayyed spoke with etimes and revealed, “We will file a guarantee after the cost sheet is submitted and it could be this week.”
NCB’s sources have stated that the action was taken against Siddharth Pithani after they got the details of the phone and the WhatsApp chat that led to certain evidence that suggested he had accused the connection with the drug supplier.
Pithani has filed a guarantee several times, but is rejected.
He was given a special permission by the court to attend his wedding in July in Hyderabad.
He surrendered two weeks after his marriage.
Pithani works with graphic design agents and has arrived in Mumbai in 2019 after a friend Sushant Singh Rajput Ayush Sharma called him.
He was offered a job on the ‘Dream 150’ project Sushnant Singh Rajput.
He stopped from work after Ayush Sharma left the Sushant job.
Pithani took a job at Ahmedabad but was called by SSR in January 2020 with a promise that he would pay for a salary.
He returned to the Sushant job for the ‘Dream 150’ project and lived with him to the end.
As a Flatmate SSR, he was the first to see the actor hanging in his room on June 14.
In the past, Pithani had been questioned several times by NCB in investigating related drugs.
