Sushant Singh Rajput’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau from Hyderabad last month.
After he filed for a bail application, a special NDPS court in Mumbai has asked the investigating agency to file a reply by June 16.
According to ANI, Siddharth Pithani was arrested in a case related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
He was allegedly procuring and consuming contrabands.

Siddharth Pithani was among the four people present at Sushant Singh Rajput’s home when he passed away on June 14.
He worked with a graphic design agency and was offered work on Sushant Singh Rajput’s Dream 150 project.
In the past, Siddharth Pithani has been often questioned by the investigating agencies probing Sushant Singh Rajpt’s untimely demise.
The drugs probe emerged when the Enforcement Directorate, while investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, shared alleged chats about substance abuse with the Narcotic Control Bureau.
Since then the NCB has been investigating the drugs angle and several Bollywood celebrities have also been questioned by the investigating agency.

After Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, his father Krishna Kishore Singh had filed a petition, proposing a stay on movies that would be made on the late actor’s life.
Sushant’s father had filed a plea restraining anyone from using Sushant Singh Rajput’s name or likeness in movies, however his plea was recently dismissed by the Delhi High Court.
Before making it big in Bollywood, Sushant Singh Rajput was a popular face on TV and had also participated in a dance reality show wherein he was declared the first-runner up.
Sushant marked his debut in Bollywood with Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kai Po Che!’ and went on to feature in hits like ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ and ‘Kedarnath’.
His last big screen outing was ‘Chhichhore’, which was announced as the Best Film (Hindi) during the 67th National Film Awards.
