St. bus staff are encouraged at the bend without pay

Mumbai: ST Ambadas Goyekar’s conductor (38) was depressed because he did not get his salary for two months.
He could not pay his mother’s covid maintenance fee.
This month he received a part of his wages, but not enough.
“Can we prevent more suicide in labor from almost 1 lakh employees?” Goyekar said from Ahmednagar district.
Staff like he contradicts the reaction of the “knee jerk” every time an employee dies because of suicide.
Last year, there were two suicide staff of MSRTC – a driver in Ratnagiri, the other conductor in Jalgaon – after that the government announced the financial assistance of Rs 1,000 Crore to pay the salaries of delayed staff.
This time, suicide of a driver in Dhule once again woke the government, which announced the RS 500 Crore package to pay a salary for July and August.
“We want a permanent solution – something that will ensure that our bank account is credited every month.
The only way to do this is possible MSRTC merger with the state government,” his advice.
Suresh Patil bus spoon (43) said he was burdened with loans.
Staying at 1BHK in Karjat with family, the driver who was taken home was Rs 13,000 saying stress at work could “kill”.
He said the living conditions of many drivers and courageous conductors.
Also, 90% of staff have taken loans because salary payments have been postponed during the Covid months.
The Minister of Transportation of Anil Paraabsaid, the bus company requires an average of RS 300 Crore to employee salaries.
“We have asked the state to pay staff salaries for some time,” he said, adding that MSRTC explored the area to get income.
