Patiala: protesting their requests, including regularization of work, several contract employees from the communication of power and contractual employees Transco on Thursday held a protest while two protesters rose to a light pole near YPS Chowk in the city to suppress the government.
Previous protesters sat near the PSPCL office since morning when they decided to take a march to the minister’s house at night.
However, the police stopped the protesters near YPS Chowk, but two protesters managed to climb a light pole along with toddlers.
They tried to solve police baricades after the police who used Light Lathicharge to disperse them.
Administration then managed to drop the child from a street light.
However, protesters did not go down despite the guarantee of meetings with high-ranking officials.
Deputy Patia Chief Commissioner Kumar Amit said the effort was to spread the situation.
He added that the child was derived from a light pole.
