Krishnagiri: Residents in the outskirts of Hosur cannot get out of their homes after waste water and rainwater stagnate outside their home on Thursday morning.
Residents claim that local bodies fail to make their pipe drain pipes.
More than 100 families live in Titan Nagar on the outskirts of Hosur facing water-logging outside their homes outside their homes.
Ngavinth, one of the residents, said that some petitions were handed over to the local body authority and there was no action taken over the drainage problem.
He also said that officials did not respond even after they approached them personally.
On Wednesday night, Hosur and the surrounding area received 10.5 mm rain and flood water entered the lowland area.

Residents have appealed to the district administration and local body authority to take immediate steps to build a disposal pipe in Titan Nagar.
