New Delhi: The center on Monday told the Supreme Court that the burning stump was not the main cause of worsening air quality in Delhi and northern countries, because it only contributed 10 percent of pollution.
To bring down pollution, the central government suggested three steps to the Supreme Court which included the introduction of a strange vehicle scheme, a truck entry ban on Delhi, and the most severe.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court concluded that the main causes of air pollution were transportation, industry, vehicle traffic separate from stumps of grilled in several regions.
The court directed the center to call for an emergency meeting tomorrow for problems such as stopping construction, non-essential transportation, power plants and work implementation from home to handle air pollution in Delhi-NCR.
It also requested the center and state of NCR to consider work from home for the temporary employees.
