CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin on Thursday established supply of this next instalment of this Covid aid of Rs 2,000 into the rice cardholders from the nation.
In addition, he commenced the distribution of a completely free supermarket of 14 things into this rice cardholders.
“As a token gesture, even the CM gave the aid quantity and supermarket to ten cardholders in the secretariat,” stated an official launch.
The transfer could help 2.09 crore rice cardholders from the country.
The first instalment of Rs 2,000 was started days following the DMK government supposed charge.
The electoral guarantee of this DMK cost the exchequer Rs 8,392.76 crore.
On May 28, the chief minister announced the supply of supermarket kits into the cardholders from the month of June.
Each grocery consists of a kilogram all wheat germ, sodium and rava, 500gm all of sugars and urad dal, 250gm all tamarind and Bengal gram, 100gm all cherry, cumin seeds, turmeric powder and chilli powder, and 200gm tea dust, and a tub along with a detergent soap.
The initiative will charge Rs 844.51 crore to the exchequer.
