CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin on Thursday requested the natives of six districts, in which the effect of Covid-19 wasn’t adequately included, to shoot every effort in another few weeks to suppress the spread.
The ministry held a virtual assembly with all the natives of Coimbatore, Tirupur, Madurai, Trichy, Salem and Erode.
Chief secretary Irai Anbu along with other senior bureaucrats also appreciated the video-conference.
“Remember the achievement of these actions we undertake in those six districts is critical to include the effects of the next wave of Covid from the nation,” the ministry informed the collectors, inducing them to carry up most of efforts in full-swing.
The state authorities intensified the complete lockdown without a relaxations from per week starting May 24.
Stalin explained the Covid effect was included to a diploma at the nation, such as Chennai and its nearby districts, because of the war-footing steps taken by the authorities along with the complete lockdown levied by the nation in the past few weeks.
