Chennai: Minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin on Thursday wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi who asked him to direct the integration of the Ministry of Transportation and Highway (Morth) to notify eight state roads in the state as a national highway and entrusted development work with country.

However, formal notifications for the declaration of these roads as new NHS have not been issued by the Ministry,” CM said.

However, because these eight roads have been given a principle approval, they can be notified as NHS without waiting for the guidelines.” He urged PM to direct the ministry to issue the necessary notice about this issue and entrust.
