Chennai: The police will not stop the traffic to allow the convoy of Minister M K Stalin to graduate and also cut half of the number of vehicles in his cavals after the directibility to reduce discomfort to the public.
In accordance with the security protocol, Stalin’s vehicle will be escorted by two pilot vehicles, one in front and the other to the back, three escort vehicles, and Jammer vehicles.
Apart from this, two advance pilot vehicles, two rear vehicles and two other escort vehicles were also provided for CM convoys.
Now only six vehicles mentioned first will accompany CM.
The new security protocol was decided at the Head of the Head of Secretary V IRAI ANBU, Head of the Additional School of S K Prabhakar, Director General of Police (DGP) C Sylendra Babu, Director General of Davidson Devasirvatham and others.
Stalin is currently equipped with Z-Plus security.
He has asked officials to provide convoys and security according to the protocol but minimize difficulties for the public.
Traffic police stopped the vehicle movement five minutes before the CM Convoy pilot vehicle crossed the crossroads.
