Stand by Pegasus Project Findings: Amnesty International

New Delhi: Amnesty International on Thursday said it was an abbreviation of the Pegasus project findings and confirmed that the data was “undeniable related” with the potential target of the NSO Pegasus Group Spyware.
Human rights groups rejected reports claiming that Amnesty never said that leak list specifically included their number targeted by Pegasus Spyware.
He claimed that “false rumors” were encouraged on social media intended to divert attention from targeting journalists, activists, and other widespread ones who violated the law, activists and others who had been expressed by the Pegasus project.
“Amnesty International is firm with the findings of Pegasus Project, and that data is not fully related to the potential target of Pegasus NSO spyware.

Last week, global investigations published by 17 media organizations claimed that Israeli spyware developed by NSO was used to target cellphone politicians, journalists, government officials and human rights activists.
This consortium is led by journalism based in Paris financing illegal stories and Amnesty International.
Wire, which is part of an international consortium, reports that the list of “potential targets” leaks for hacking displays many leading Indian names such as the former Head of Congress Rahul Gandhi, Minister BJP Ashwini Vaishnaw and Prahlad Singh Patel, former commissioner of elections.
