NEW DELHI: The government is set to roll out a”Seniorcare Ageing Growth Engine” endeavor which would pick, service and make a”one stop access” to aged care services and products by respectable startups.
The suggestions of those’startups’ will be chosen dependent on inventions they can offer catering to a broad assortment of requirements seniors which range from health, home, care centers, technology accessibility to financing and wealth management and private advice.
The societal justice ministry will involve startups to use for part of SAGE in June 5 through a dedicated portal site.
All suggestions will soon be uploaded and choice will be dependent on blind inspection from an independent screening committee of specialists.
The very first set of chosen startups will soon be hosted to the portal site in about two weeks’ time.
The MoSJE will soon be supplying a fund of Rs 1 crore as one time equity into every chosen startup.
According to the strategy, the SAGE project intends to identify, assess, confirm, aggregate, and provide productsand solutions, solutions right into the stakeholders, providing them broad option to pick the merchandise, services and solutions which will suit their needs and assist in enhancing their wellbeing.
Speaking to TOI, social justice writer R Subrahmanyam explained,”this project intends to provide a boost to personal involvement in the senior care industry by choosing and especially encouraging new startups with innovative ideas.” He added that using the increasing elderly people and their everyday care requirements, it’s clear that the authorities cannot respond to each of the concerns and personal players need to be brought on board.
