from Thursday and so on.
According to the KMC health department official, those who come early in the clinic or mega centers have a hassle-free experience.
A KMC health official said it took advantage of an additional 90 minutes, vaccination clinics could serve more recipients throughout the city.
Apart from the initial opening, the clinic on Thursday has 100 extra dose allocations from the headquarters that allow them to serve more recipients who have queued from the early hours.
“Today we did not reject a single recipient who appeared at our clinic.
Instead, we had to send five bottles to our borough office after managing 250 doses because there were no recipients,” said a KMC official posted at Borough Xi.
However, a longer queue witnessed in various fields such as Belaughata, Maniktala, Burrabazar, Bhowanipore, Hazra, Behala and Baghejajatin-Jadavpur.
“Today we have a mixed response from the recipient throughout the city.
While some centers finally tiring the vaccine allocation, others sent a small portion of the bottle allocated,” said the KMC health department official.
