PATIALA: Starter scientists from the Institute of Technology, Ropar and Kanpur, and the Faculty of Management of the Delhi University study have developed live plant-based air purifiers that strengthen the process of air purification in indoor spaces.
Indoor spaces can become your hospital, school, office and home.

Startup IIT Ropar Company, urban air laboratory, which has developed the product claimed the first ‘bio-filter’ in the world that can make fresh breathing.
It has been incubated in IIT Ropar, which is the IHUB – Awadh (Agriculture and the Development Center for Agricultural Technology and Water Technology) by the Department of Science and Technology, Government.
from India.
This technology works through a natural leafy plant that purifies air.
The room air interacts with leaves and goes to the land root zone where maximum pollutants are purified.
The new technology used in this product is the ‘urban effect of munnar’ along with “respiratory roots” that are delayed by patents to strengthen exponentially the phytoremediation process of plants.
Phytonemediation is a process where plants effectively eliminate pollutants from the air.

The ‘Ubreathe Life’ air purifier effectively improves indoor air quality by eliminating contaminants of particles, gas, and biological while increasing oxygen levels in indoor space through certain plants, UV disinfection and pre-filter piles, charcoal filters and hepa (high-performance Particulate air) filters are installed in a specially designed wooden box.
There is a centrifugal fan that creates suction pressure in the cleaners, and releases purified air, formed on the root, through outlets in the direction of 360 degrees.
Certain plants tested for air purification include lily peace, snake plants, spider plants, etc.
And all have gave good results in purifying indoor air.
According to the World Health Organization Report (WHO), the air space in the room is five times more polluted than the outdoor air space.
It is the cause of worries, especially in the current Covid pandemic period.
Research, which has recently been published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), calls the government to change the design of the building by repairing air changes per hour (size of space ventilation with outside air).
‘Ubeathe Life’ can be a solution to this problem.
“This tested product ‘Ubeathe Life’ can be a game-changer to keep the air clean in the room.
The reason, new research also shows that Covid-19 vaccination by itself might not guarantee security at work, schools, and even homes which is fully air-conditioned except air filtration, air purification, and indoor ventilation into part of building design.
The test results, carried out by the National Accreditation Board for the Testing and Calibration Laboratory and Laboratory IIT Ropar stated that AQI (air quality index) for room size 150sq.ft.
Down from 311 to 39 in 15 minutes after using ‘Ubreathe Life’, Director of Claim, Iit, Ropar, Prof.
Rajeev Ahuja.
He claims that this is the first plant-based air purifier in the world that can be a game-changer.
Sanjay Maurya, Ubreathe CEO claims that the production of certain biophilic benefits, such as supporting cognitive function, physical health, and psychological well-being.
So, it’s like having a little Amazon forest in your room.
Consumers do not need to water plants regularly because there is a default water reservoir with a capacity of 150ml acting as a buffer for factory requirements.
He said that the device supplied water to the root every time it was dry.
Recommend this product researched, Dr.
Vinay and Dr.
Deepesh Agarwal from AIIMS, New Delhi said that ‘Ubreathe Life’ instilled oxygen in the room so that it is conducive to patients with respiratory problems.
Prof.
Ahuja assured that IIT was able to produce large amounts of products to market it.
