Ranchi: The newly appointed Jharkhand Congress President, Rajesh Thakur, and four presidents of work on Friday giving courtesy visits to the leaders of the senior Congress in New Delhi scheduled back to the Jharkhand on Saturday.
Although a big welcome was waiting for them at the State Headquarters in Ranchi on Saturday afternoon, hatred had begun to grow in veteran leaders, office carriers and carakartas for the selection of candidates.
Veteran leaders, who observed the top jobs and a greater role in state leadership, had muffled voices expressing their dissatisfaction with the decision of the national leadership to point to the president of work.
“Everything – Geta Koda, Bandhu Tirkey, Jaleshwar Mahto and Shehzada Anwar – have joined the party in the past three years.
Tirkey has been appointed into the party but has not been approved by the Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Court as the MLA Congress,” a veteran office carrier who chooses anonymity on Friday.
A group of other Congress members have questioned the Thakur credentials.
“He was contested on MCC tickets from Bokaro in 2000 and became a regular party only in 2013.
Even though he had become the president who worked for two years, he had a little organizational experience,” said the former legislator.
Others asked party leadership decisions not to appoint tribes as head of state.
“Get out of the 28 St.
assembly chair, Mahagatbandhan won 26, where Congress has won seven.
The tribal population vents large amounts for Congress candidates and their sentiments should be respected,” said a senior-office carrier.
Former President of the State Congress of Rameshwar Oraon, who has maintained a low profile because of the exaggeration, did not respond to TI calls on Friday.
However, the sources close to him said: “Oraon disappointed.
He hawned how he was told about the party’s decision unilaterally and was not heard.” Loyal Oraon has begun to meet with a senior office carrier in New Delhi and has demanded his recovery.
However, Thakur is still not affected by different brewing at home.
“I will bring senior leaders and veterans of the karyakartas from the party.
My goal is to build a strong organization before the polling Lok Sabha,” he told Ti from New Delhi by telephone.
