Ranchi: The state farmer will now be called ‘Birsa Kisan’, Chairman of the Minister of Hemant Soren made an announcement on Monday during the International Day of Indigenous Peoples in the World in the Project Building in Ranchi.
This program looks at the distribution of Kisan Credit Cards (KCC) and the launch of Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Yojana for the current fiscal year.
Similar programs were held simultaneously in all 24 districts to mark that day.
Speaking at the event, Soren said, “Today, we launched a variety of farmer schemes that centric to mark a special day and dedicate the day to honor our annum (food provider).” He added, “The term ‘Birsa Kisan’ will instill a sense of pride in farmers.
Jharkhand is Birsa Land and several other soldiers who put their lives for their community and to protect the rights and tribal resources and they play a key role in the struggle of Indian freedom.
But a lot before the freedom struggle begins, our ancestors have struggled for the cause of Jal, forest, Jameen (soil, forest and water).
On the other hand, you (farmers) are people who give us eat and hence, the government I have decided to Recognize you as Birsa Kisans to give you a different identity.
“Expressing concerns over many farmers shifting to other sources of income due to a number of challenges before them, Soren said that the government worked to revive the entire sector in the state.
“The need for hours is to overcome the problem of farmers and we have worked in this matter.
For example, we plan to establish a federation for small forest production market relations.” In another significant announcement, CM said the government immediately gave eggs six days a week for children Schools “around 40% of children in this country are malnourished and we will give them eggs six days a week,” he said.
Meanwhile, while explaining the origin of the term ‘Birsa Kisan’, Director of the Ministry of Agriculture Nisha Oraon said they were trying to provide a unique ID for every farmer in the line of unique identification system (aadhaar) to curb the rupiah of agricultural schemes.
