State guidelines about cell use for official work

Mumbai: The state government has asked its employees to use Tongle office for communication regarding office work if possible and to reduce cellphone use.
The General Administration Department has issued a detailed guideline on telephone etiquette to be attended by government employees while in the office.
Guidelines say that employees must use SMS as a communication mode for official work and to stay short.

The guidelines came at the time of allegations against the illegal tapping of mobile journalists and opposition leaders were being made.
The use of language is polite, when talking about cellphones and not to use language that is not separated is part of the guideline.
Also, employees are asked to focus on time and language while using social media for office use, and to immediately respond to senior representative calls / officers when making other calls.
