Nagpur: When a dead end between parents and school authorities for the cost of dragging, the state government contemplates regulations at the beginning of next month which can empower officials to deal with the conflict.
The Minister of School Education Varsha Gaikwad told TII that under the laws of the Maharashtra Education Institution (cost regulations), which controlled cost problems, the state did not have the power to disturb.
“The file has been put to see what changes can be done and we can use the current procedure route.
It might appear in the next cabinet, meet myself,” he said.
Complaint repetition mechanism has been built into the system where step by step, “suffered parents” can increase this problem.
But the main committee, called the Division Cost Settings Committee (DFRC), became operational in June after a gap more than a year.
Because of his previous absence, parents and school clashed on cost problems before public representatives, educational officials and even justice.
The state also realizes that, until now, legally cannot dictate the school to reduce or release student costs, the process of considering changes begins.
Gaikwad said, “If the amendment in law must be done, we can see it during the next sitting legislature.” According to constitutional experts, regulations are the fastest route for the government.
Former Senior State Lawyer and Advocate ShreeHari Aney said, “The Cabinet can provide regulations but must be approved by the Governor.
After being approved, this is valid for six months and can be extended.” He further said the amendments in legal issues could also be taken in the cabinet.
“They can declare their intention to change the law, which will ultimately be done when the house is in the session,” Aney said.
The government led by BJP, under the power of whom is the law of graduation, it is too difficult to realize in the provision of state to dictate costs.
Former Minister of Education Vinod Tawde, a BJP Neta, said it would be legally unable to be maintained.
“The right to the Education Law (RTE) said children had the right to free education.
This, this country has done through the Institute (ZP etc.) itself and the school assisted.
But there is no provision through which private school costs can be dictated by the state, “Tawde said.
Minister Gaikwad also has not revealed whether the proposed ordinance also aims to empower the government to cover costs or release it.
A senior education official, who did not want to be identified, said, “I don’t think the government will do it because it will be challenged in court.
In Mumbai, rich family children attend top class schools and if their costs are limited, the school will be very Financial o’clock.
The cost of each school is the result of its own infrastructure and popularity.
Maybe the regulation will give us strength (officials) to try to a certain extent in cost disputes.
