Tehran: TV State of Iran reported Thursday that the Speedboat belonging to the country’s paramilitary revolutionary guard had intercepted US vessels in the Persian Gulf.
A US Navy spokesman said he did not realize such a meeting in the sea for the past few days.
The area remains on the edge of Iran’s increased nuclear program.

Iran’s report on Thursday aired the recording that the TV said was filmed from one of the speedboat guards.
It shows a ship with the US flag and several personnel on the board when the speedboat seems to chase it.
A sound was heard in Farsi, saying: “continue to chase them.” The report did not say when the meeting occurred.
