PUNE: The state government’s decision on Friday to unite the marks obtained from Std IX and X for further evaluation of SSC pupils has run into difficulty.
More than 19 lakh students had emerged for its Std IX school-level examinations from Maharashtra this past calendar year.
On the other hand, the information of 78,643 pupils is missing out of the SARAL program, which stores both the academic and administrative information of schools and their pupils, such as report cards.
Thane district gets the highest missing data of 12,613 pupils.
Bhandara district had the smallest amount at 80.
The state authorities said colleges are advised to work out that the marks to these pupils by assessing their records and regaining their home examinations.
The education department has sought causes for its dearth of information from the program.
