KORAPUT: Every day following eight individuals, including six children went missing, when the 2 ships where they were traveling capsized from the Sileru river beneath Chitrakonda authorities limitations in Malkangiri district, the bodies of five kids and one adult was spat out from the rescue group comprising fire personnel, authorities and ODRAF until Tuesday evening. “Rescue operation is underway to follow the other missing men. On Monday night, three men travelling in the ship had drifted to Kandhaguda ferry stage,” stated SP (Malkangiri) Hrishikesh Khilari. Police sources stated that the incident happened around 10 pm Monday while 11 individuals, such as minors, of Guthabeda along with Kandhaguda villages were coming home. The villagers went Sileru at Telangana to operate in a brick kiln. But because of the lockdown that they had been coming home in just two nation ships on Monday night, said authorities. Police said the villagers decide to hire 2 fishing ships to visit their village by Sileru since they feared being spilled on hitting home when they moved by road. Among those ships with six individuals capsized after it allegedly fought with a stump at the lake forcing the passengers to float into another ship to rescue their own lives. The next vessel capsized below the load. However, three men were able to swim into the ferry line at Kandhaguda and notify nearby villagers. Due to darkness and remoteness of the region, the saving operations could not be completed through the night, stated T Padmanav Dora, tehsildar, Chitrokonda. On Tuesday afternoon, fire employees, an ODRAF team found a search procedure and fished the bodies out.
