JAMSHEDPUR: The Jharkhand Government is all ready to deal with the new Novid-19 variant, Informed State Health and Disaster Management Minister of Banna Gupta.
Underpointing the need for more vaccinations, Gupta said the administration was notified to identify those who had not stabbed and ensured that they were not inoculated as soon as possible.
He added along with the Covid protocol, vaccination is a must for anyone to stay safe.
Administrative officials found a way to find those who have not been vaccinated, added the minister.
Gupta, told TOI on Monday which remembers the possibility of the third wave outbreak of pandemic and learning from past experience, instructions have been given to ensure that there is enough oxygen stock for patients if needed.
During the second wave of Covid, there were accusations that lost many lives in hospitals and at home due to lack of oxygen.
Gupta said oxygen manufacturing plants were regulated by considering the possibility of demand and more in the pipe.
He said the state did not have a genome sequencing machine but an attempt to install one immediately.
This will help in fast sample testing, which will help the doctor here.
If needed, the bed for children is ready in various places throughout the state.
The doctor has been trained to handle any emergency situation.
Gupta said the entire state of 28,600 beds had been saved for covid patients.
Talk about the dose of booster for frontline workers and those aged 60-plus ages, he said all had to get extra jabs.
He argues that children in the age group 12 to 18 must be inoculated.
Gupta commented on the recent announcement PM Narendra Modi which enabled their vaccination between 15 and 18 years.
