Mumbai: Confusion about whether a school for class VIII to XII in Covid-free rural areas can be reopened with government resolution withdrawn from the clock of the state website after being released on Monday.
Even though the country has not issued a new order that cancels Monday’s Gr, education in rural areas is not clear whether they must continue with the process of reopening the school.
The state on Monday said class VIII to XII in a rural area free of Covid can start a physical class.
Standard operating procedures are set for school too.
That includes the Regional Government Agency made a decision about the reopening of the school after obtaining parents’ approval.
The education officer said that though the GR was released on Monday, the Chairman of the Minister of Uddhav Thackeray did not give a nod to reopen the school.
Gr possibility will be reviewed and will be published in the coming days.
Teachers in rural areas have demanded school for all because online learning has not taken off among children.
