NEW DELHI: Even a first-year history honours student hailed with his professors and classmates as”glowing” and”that an allrounder”, and that had been a part of St Stephen’s College’s efforts in assisting Covid-19 patients locate hospital beds and valuable oxygen, dropped into the virus Tuesday.
Satyam Jha (18), who’d passed from Kolkata’s St Xavier’s Collegiate School using 99 percent of his Class XII board examinations and wished to be a civil servant, dropped his life from Rajasthan’s Kota.

Stephen’s pays tribute to fallen studentJha, a native of Howrah’s Bally, has been involved in the school’s Covid source group, helping patients out.
John Varghese, St Stephen’s chief, paid a tribute to Jha within a post titled”Pandemic into Panacea” which has been uploaded to the school site.
Pupils held a candlelight vigil in the school residence in their own memory.
“Satyam has been admitted into your hospital with a lung disease.
After the family did not enjoy the centre, they changed him to a different hospital.
He state worsened, however he wasn’t placed to the ventilator.
His last rites were conducted that there ,” explained a family acquaintance.

He revealed outstanding excellence and promise for a student and also an all-rounder.
That is so dreadful.
I had been mentoring him.
My bad fortune.
