STF restored around 5 kg of Ied near Indo-Pak International Border in Punjab

Attari: Towards the election of assembly in Punjab, the Special Task Force (STF) has recovered around 5 kg of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and RS 1 Note India Lakh currency from near Indo-sir’s international border on Friday.
According to sources, following specific inputs, STF launched the operation on Friday morning on Jalan Attari-Bachhiwind and found a suspicious package near the Road to the change of Dera Gulab Shah.
“On a close examination of the package, we suspect and called for a bomb disposal force that confirmed that the package contained around 5 kg of IED,” said the source.
The source does not answer satisfactorily why the STF team does not put a trap to wait for people to come to take the package and catch it.
STF hasn’t made an arrest so far.
It was lowned that the package was pushed into the Indian region of Pakistan.
“This is the problem of inquiry whether airdropped by several drones or several intruders also enters the country,” said sources that added that the international border with Pakistan was only about 1.5 km from the Ied and Indian currency recovery site.
