Sting in the rain: at 2.6K, Hry’s Dengue Tally at a height of 3 years

Gurgaon: Haryana’s official dengue case count is at a height of three years, because of a long monsoon.
With continuous rain until the end of the year, health officials have warned that the number of cases tends to increase.
On Wednesday, the state counting was established at 2,646, it was significantly higher than a total of 1,936 cases reported in 2018.
In 2019 and 2020, Kasel was 1,207 and 1,377.
So far, Haryana has not reported bloody death this season.
District with the highest number of cases has been marked “most affected”.
These include Panchkula (331), followed by SANSA (272), FateHabad (206), Sonīpat (192), Gurgaon (189), Noah (175) and Faridabad (173).
The lowest number of cases has been reported from Palwal (20), Karnal (38), Panipat (39), REWARI (43) and JHAJJAR (57).
Of the total 2,646 cases, 1,643 reported by government hospitals and 1,003 with private facilities.
Rajeev Arora, ACS (Health), Haryana, said, “With the aim of preventing mortality because of dengue fever, the provision of single donor platelets (SDP) has been made for patients in government hospitals throughout the state.
Previously, hospitals imposed Rs 8,500 per SDP unit.
“Aedes agypti, mosquitoes that cause dengue, usually breed in stagnant water in containers such as desert coolers, overhead tanks, plastic bags, bottles, cups dumped on garbage, lip items on the roof, flower pots and baths bird.
During the rainy season, it is important to identify and eliminate mosquito breeding sites by emptying water from the container.
According to the Ministry of Health, around 420 checkers of domestic breeding have been deployed in all districts while 1.410 operated by hand and 35 fogging machines installed by vehicles have been pressed into the service.
Indoor residual spray is also being carried out in 57 high-risk areas where high malaria incidents in the last three years.
In addition, around 8,023 water bodies have been identified to release gambusia fish (Mosquito Killer Fish).
Fish have been released in 7,167 water bodies and will be released to the rest too.
About 112 functional fish hatching places in the current country.
Meanwhile, Dr.
Virender Yadav, Chief Medical Officer, Gurgaon, said the response team quickly carried out the door-to-door playback in the dengue cluster.
“We appeal to people to ensure that water does not remain stagnant inside and around their territory,” he added.
The city reported the first case of the season on August 24, when five people were tested positively.
It has seen the highest number of cases in 2015, in 451.
The image was established in 86 in 2016, 66 in 2017 and 93 in 2018.
While 22 cases were reported in 2019, 51 cases were recorded in 2020.
