Miami: Sam’s storm strengthened again to a strong category 4 storm on Tuesday, well-centered off the coast in the Atlantic Ocean but was still able to send big waves and rip currents this weekend to the Bahamas, Bermuda and finally the Northeast Coast.
Sam is located about 610 miles (980 kilometers) to the east of North Leeward Islands and travel to the northwest at 9 mph (14 kph), the US Hurricane Center said in a morning advisor.
Wind Storm troops extends outside 40 miles (65 kilometers) from the center.
The maximum sustainable wind rises again to 130 mph (215 kph), making it a storm Category 4.
There are no applicable coastal watches or warnings, and fortune tellers expect it to remain a big storm until the end of this week because it changes north on the path that will make the center Stay off the coast.
