Stranded Mali workers to be brought back to the country

Ranchi: The State Government has succeeded in getting a commitment from Mali-based companies to bring back 33 workers from Hazaribag and Girech stranded in demand for West African compounds to bring them back, from their family members, have reached the office of the Minister of Chief (CMO) in the month December last year.
According to complaints received in CMO, the workers were not paid for their wages for more than three months and they did not have the means to return home.

Bhokta directs the workforce commissioner A Muthu Kumar to contact the Indian Embassy in Mali and accelerate this problem.
After building contact with workers, the workforce commissioner contacted Anjani Kumar, Indian diplomat in Mali, urged him to resolve the problem of workers.
The Indian Embassy in Bamako invited the company and workers to meet their problems on January 18.
During the mediation carried out at the Embassy, ​​company officials took responsibility to pay wages of workers and arranged flight tickets from Mali to Ranchi for all 33 workers.
The company also agreed to be responsible for their stay, food, and all kinds of emergency arrangements until their stay in Mali.
The Arbitration letter was signed by a company representative and two senior Indian Embassy officials.
