Vadodara: Four villages in the suburbs that have recently joined the West Zone Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) will now be provided by the Civic body.
The delay in providing services to these villages had previously left several Irked residents.
VMC has decided to provide street lights in this area as lights such as filament lights, tube lights, sodium lights and others are still used in areas arranged previously Panchayats.
VMC decided to ensure that all lights in these villages were led.
After the Civic body recently invited a tender for lights, a supervisory committee cleaned the tender of Rs 59.91 lakh for street lights in the newly added West Zone.
This includes Bhayli Village, Sevasi, Undau and Karodiya.
This work has now been placed before the fixed committee of the Civic body that will meet on Friday to make decisions regarding tenders.
