New Delhi: In the midst of a report of farmers who faced fertilizer shortages, the Minister of Chemistry of Union and Mansukh Mandaviya’s fertilizer on Monday asked farmers not to hoard fertilizer and warn strict action against black marketers.
“He asked him (farmers) not to pay attention to rumors of Mongers.
He warns that strict actions will be taken against those who use black fertilizer marketing using rumors as a shield.
The availability of fertilizers will exceed requests raised by the United States and UTS,” the fertilizer ministry said in a fertilizer Official statement.
While urea requests are 41 lakh tons, 76 lakh tons will be available.
Likewise, 18 lakh tons of DAP will be available on requests projected by 17 lakh tons.
The availability of 30 lakh tons of NPK will exceed the request of 15 lakh tons, he said.
Mandaviya also convinced farmers that the central government continued to monitor production, import and fertilizer movement in this country and adequate arrangements available to ensure that farmers get enough fertilizer.
