Jaipur: The Rajasthan government has issued a standard operating procedure (SOP) for reopening schools in the state on Wednesday.
The school was set to restart for grade 9 to 12 on September 1 after pandemic locking.
Although the number of Covid-19 cases has fallen, the government has decided to follow all the right guidelines for the reopening of the school.
For grade 9 and 10, the school will start at 7:30 a.m.
to 12:30 a.m., and for grade 11 and 12, it will from 8am to 1:00 p.m.
Half-hour gap has been allowed to prevent density in the school.
The midday food will not be prepared at school and only dry rations will be provided.
The institution must clean the school bus and the driver must take at least one dose of vaccine.
If possible, there will only be one student on the bench in the classroom, but enough space must be provided if there are more students to let them sit at the appropriate distance.
Reacting to the government’s decision, the president of the private school association, the Shiksha Parivar School, said, “We want schools to be reopened from the primary class as they have done in other states as well.
RTE payments that are still delayed must be removed by the government as soon as possible to help students attend Class of this session.
“However, the association of parents has objected to the opening of the school and said this would pose a big risk for the lives of students.
Sanyukt Abhibhavak Sangh has demanded the state government to reconsider the decision to open school.
