KALYAN: Khadakpada police detained a 22-year-old guy from Irani basti included with 56 chain snatching instances in Thane commissionerate place.
The accused was recognized since Abdulla Irani alias Sayyed.
Irani was part of mob who’d assaulted Vasai authorities during a raid to nab chain snatchers in February this year.
In a period of just four decades, Irani was included in 56 chain snatching instances in Thane commissionerate region, authorities said.
Police also suspect he might have committed away from the region also.
They’re calling Arabian authorities commissionerates out of Thane and Navi Mumbai.
Vivek Pansare, deputy commissioner of police (zone 2), Thane authorities stated,”Our group detained Sayyed out of Ambivli and have captured 16 bike and 64 g of gold ornaments worth Rs 12.5 lakh.” “The accused is included in 56 cases of chain snatching, cellular snatching and bike theft cases.
He’s been detained for several scenarios.
He’s currently facing fees for 21 instances,” Anil Powar, assistant commissioner of police, Kalyan zone stated.
Ashok Pawar, senior police inspector in Khadakpada police station stated,”So much in 1 year we’ve detained 29 series snatchers out of Iranipada.”
