Letter: In the midst of pandemic despair, the Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) has many reasons to cheer.
A female student from the electronics department and its communication techniques, Sweety Jain, has violated the highest salary record at the campus placement by pocketing the salary of Rs 40 Lakh per software offer from the software giant.
The second highest salary that will be offered is Rs 37.5 lakh by a software giant for other students, Prithesh Tripathi, from the computer engineering branch.
More than 52 percent of students from eligible are selected in the placement of the SVNIT campus even because the global business and industry is influenced by Covid-19.
As in 2020, this year the entire placement process for universities was conducted online.
The daughter of a sweet shop owner of the Madhopur sawai in Rajasthan, Sweety is the only person from his family who has been offered a handsome initial package.

By 2020, of 1,056 students who qualified from the Bachelor of Technology (B TECH), Master of Technology (M Tech) and the Master of Science (MC), a total of 666 students were recruited.
In fact, this year 539 out of a total of 1,029 students who qualified, have received placements.
“Last year around 60 percent of students were recruited in campus placement while this year 52 percent of students were recruited.
Concerned conditions are feared because of the continuation of global pandemics in the second year; however, it is better and the situation improves,” said Dr.
