Assistant Institute of Technology-Agartala (Nit-Agartala) Professor Rajib Mallik said that Subham Raj, who had pocketed an offer from Amazon with an annual 1.3 lakh euro package (RS 1.15 Crore), will join the Amazon Berlin office in September as a development engineer software.
A student from the first batch of Institute, Subham, a resident of Kunj Vihar, Argora, Ranchi, is currently the eighth semester of B.Tech Students IIIT-Agartala, which is currently under the guidance of Nit-Agartala.

Subham, 21, who previously made an internship on Google in 2021, was also chosen in a global competitive drive carried out by Google, Mallik said to IANs.
He said that the whole brotherhood of IIIit-Agartala and Nit-Agartala were proud of the success of Subham.
The IIIT-Agartala students for the academic year 2021-22 received an average annual cost of Rs 22 Lakh.
IIIIT-Agartala was founded in 2018 in public-private-partnership (PPP) models in accordance with the law of IIIT which was passed by the Ministry of Human Ministry (now the Ministry of Education) in 2014.
IIIT-Agartala, which currently offers only B.Tech programs in computer science and engineering, shares and use infrastructure, faculty and nit-agartala curriculum.
Mallik said that the Nit-Agartala Career Development Center arranged internships and placements for IIIT-Agartala students and conducted many online workshops, webinars, mock training and Mock interviews through online mode and virtual mode.
