Students are not rejected in government schools because of the unavailability of TC: Sisodia

New Delhi: Students who are looking for entrance tickets to Delhi government schools from private schools will not be rejected in because of the unavailability of the TC certificate (TC), Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Thursday.
He said several private schools held back the transfer certificate to students and asked parents to deposit full cost first.

Sisodia further informs that so far 28,000 applications have been accepted for nurseries, kg and class 1 to enter the Sarvodaya School of the Delhi government and the registration list will be issued on July 20.
“Furthermore, around 90,000 applications have been received for grade 6 to 12 (except class 11).
School allocation process is currently underway,” he said.
