Students complain about mistakes in medium-term English paper II

Mangaluru: Many PU students appear for British papers from medium-term examinations on Saturday, complaining that this paper has a series of errors.
As a result, they cannot answer many questions.
According to senior English lecturers, some questions come out of the syllabus, and grammar errors are also considered in question papers.
“According to our calculations, students may not be able to answer questions that are worth a total of 35 marks, from 100 signs,” said a British PU lecturer, adding that the Pre-University Education Department (DPUE) must check the question of paper, after being prepared, for any mistake .
Some lecturers doubt if the British faculty has set paper questions.
“Seeing paper, we doubt whether the person who regulates it, is aware of the English PU syllabus.
In the exam hall, we noticed that students were confused about seeing paper questions,” said a lecturer who was a search for the exam.
Many lessons are removed for medium-term examinations because of a pandemic.
“However, some questions from the lessons left behind,” said a student, who demanded that the exam be held back.
Students claim that they cannot answer one sign, four questions related to grammar and grammar.
Due to changes in the pattern of inspection, the question paper is provided by the DPUE.
Each district prepares a set of question papers for the country.
Then, the question letters are distributed randomly into each district.
“The department guidelines for frustration of question papers have been fully neglected.
Grammar and error punctuation are found from the beginning to the end of the question paper.
The department must re-examine the paper question before it is finished,” said a senior lecturer.
Lecturers suggest that the distribution of paper questions between districts must be stopped for medium-term exams, and strict actions must be taken against people who set paper questions.
Snehal Rayamane, Director, DPUE, said that he had asked Dakshina Kannada DDPU C D Jayanna to submit a report on this issue.
“If there are more than 35 mark questions from the syllabus or error in the question, we can take the exam again,” he said.
