Students die of accidents

Thiruvananthapuram: BSC Biotechnology Students Third Year Karahahtom Government College here died on Friday in an accident on the road while driving a pillion in a scooter with his friend.
Dhwani, Princess Rajesh (late) and lilu from ‘Varadanam’ House, Thottakkad at Kalavaram near Kallambalam, is the deceased.
His friend, Shahila had also suffered a serious injury in the accident.
The police said that the accident occurred in Vadiyil near the numbers around 10:30 a.m.
The two young women were reported on their way to a friend’s house when the accident occurred.
As an eyewitness account, the accident occurred when they tried to follow the tipper truck in front of them.
When they tried to overtake, a Maruti Omni van who came from the opposite direction hit them.
The two women fell under the truck and suffered injuries.
Even though they rushed to the nearest hospital, Dhwani gave up on his injury around 2pm.
