Students in T’Gana are trained in fighting cyber crime

Hyderabad: To keep the cyber space safe for students, Telangana police have begun to train students and teachers choosing in combating the crime of cyberspace.
Students and teachers chosen will be called ‘cyber ambassadors’ and them, in turn, will train other students in various schools and colleges.
DGP M Mahendar Reddy inaugurated the ‘Cyber Congress’ program organized by Wing Safety Wing.
The 10-month online program will be carried out by cyber experts.
“The Cyber Congress initiative will be held in 33 Telangana Regency which targets 50 schools from each district.
Overall, this project aims to empower 1,650 teachers and 3,300 children,” the DGP office said.
DGP said that all teenagers, youth and women must get acquainted with various types of cyber crimes and relevant cyber law where they can protect themselves.
