Students must prepare for an offline exam: Uday Samant

Kolhapur: Most of the colleges in the state will start offline classes from Tuesday and students must be ready to take an offline exam, said Uday Samant, Maharashtra Ministers of Higher Education and Technical.
Samant spoke at Karad on Monday after meeting with government engineering authorities and pharmaceutical colleges.

The district collectors have been asked to assess the situation of local covid, the vaccination status of students and talked with Vice-Chancellor before allowing the college to continue the offline class in their respective districts.

Samant said vaccination coverage in government educational institutions was quite high and there would be a problem in reopening universities from 1.
“throughout Maharashtra, vaccination students have been good.
Special camps will be held in universities where vaccination voters are less.
Without vaccination , students will not be allowed to sit for offline classes, “he added.
The minister said the universities left behind in vaccination would continue with online teaching.
Vaccination status in college will be reviewed by February 15, Samant said.
Samant announced that the government would spend RS 9 Crore to develop dormitory facilities for girls from the resignation community studying in government universities in Karad.
