Gorakhpur Revision: The body of a 24-year-old house science student from DDU Gorakhpur University was found depending on the ‘Dupatta’ (Scarf) in the University Shop Room on Saturday.
A BSC third year student, he went to the university to appear in the examination.
The police, who claimed that he had hung himself, had sent the body to postmortem and investigations starting.
However, his father had rejected suicide theory and demanded a thorough probe into the incident.
After getting information, Representative Chancellor Prof.
Rajesh Singh reached a place along with university administration officials.
He has convinced the family of the deceased and the police full cooperation in this matter.
In a statement, the University Administration stated sadness over the death of the girl.
“VC holds a meeting with university officials to arrange counseling days every week for UG students, PG and PhD to manage their stress levels and increase confidence,” he added.
The report said that Priyanka, Princess Vinod Kumar, a Shivpur resident in Shahbazganj, came to the University on Saturday to write a science examination of his house.
Around 2:00 p.m., when a university employee went to the store, he saw the girl’s body hanging from the ceiling with ‘Dupatta’.
However, Priyanka’s father, rejected the theory of suicide.
He told reporters that Priyanka did not commit suicide because he was fine when he left home for the university with his brother Manish.
“I want to investigate through this problem so that the truth can be disclosed.
I do not understand how he reaches the store room rather than giving a test.
He was really fine when he was at home and went to the university,” he told reporters.
Priyanka is the youngest among his brothers, brothers and three sisters.
Inspector Cantt Sudhir Singh said, “The reason behind suicide is unclear.
We are investigating this problem.”
