Kolkata: Head of West Bengal Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said students who have obtained a 60 percent sign in the State Council exam will be eligible for ‘Swami Vivekanana Merit-Cum-Arsize Scholarship scheme’.
He also said the feasibility criteria had been revised from 75 percent to 60 percent so that more students could benefit from the initiative.
Banerjee almost formatted at least 1,700 successful candidates from secondary, medium and higher madrasas exams on Thursday.
All students are served with laptops, besides books written by famous Bengal writers.
