Nagpur: Universitas Nagpur (NU) on Friday confirmed that students had transferred money to the Bank’s Gondia Lecturer Bank account, which allegedly demanded money to forward it in the MBA exam.
During media interactions, the Director of the Profulla Sable Profulcalization and Evaluation Board (BoOE) said that the probe panel formed by NU had confirmed transactions from the student account into the teacher.
When asked if NU would file a complaint of the police against the teacher, Chaudhari Subhash Chancellor representative answered negatively, stating that students had to do it ideally, because they were cheated.
“We will capture the probe panel report led by commerce faculty Dean Sanjay Kavishwar and members of the Dabir Urmila Management Board before Boee for further action,” he said.
However, he revealed that the teacher under the scanner was not found to be on a roll of college Mission Management Kirsan.
The teacher works in other colleges, named Shankarlal Agrawal, in the same city.
“We have now been looking for explanations from college about whether the teacher works there and the report card,” he said.
Sable added that NU had decided to record the internal exam students of Kirsan College too, because manipulation in the newspaper was confirmed.
“We will not let students suffer from all kinds of academic losses.
Our request is still ongoing, but students who are not involved in allegations of bribery will be saved.” Previously, NU decided to accommodate the re-exam papers for Kirsan students, after confirming the manipulation in the MBA examination Probe panel member.
However NU officials told Ti that the administration was under pressure to save the management of Kirsan’s college, because it was attached to one of the three partners of the ruler in the MVA government.
They added that many famous academics from the NU circle were members of the college governor council.
The first complaint in this case was submitted by the former Mahendra Nimbarte Management Board member, who sent the audio clip to the Director Boee, claiming that many students have deposited the number in the teacher’s account in question.
Nimbarte emphasized that NU should act against the management of college and billed for serious violations.
“Students told me that such actions were common in their college.
After my complaint, the teachers warned all students not to reveal anything to the Probe Nu panel members, and threatened to damage their careers by failing in all subjects,” he told toi.
