Students want the council test called, stage protest

Bhubaneswar: Hundreds of students took to the streets throughout the country demanding the cancellation of higher secondary council examinations considering the current Covid-19 situation on Thursday.
Students say when the class has not been completed and the class is done in online mode how the government can carry out inspection in offline mode.
Students who are restless, who shouted slogans against the government and demanded the cancellation of the exam, clashed with the police at the Master of Canteen Square.
“We are really scared.
Our course has not been completed but the government wants to take the exam in offline mode.
It seems that the plan to destroy our lives.
When the government can carry out political demonstrations and everything is open and operational, then what the need to cancel the school,” said a student who said nervous.
Students say, the reduction in syllabus by 30% will not help students.
“Education was a mess during Covid.
Offline classes for several days, but only 50% of the course is complete.
In the next month how the rest of the course will be finished.
And if we don’t print good grades, our career will be destroyed,” said another student.
Because the government has conducted a summative examination according to the revised assessment scheme, the students demanded that the higher secondary education council must announce the results.
