New Delhi: With the 13th of the City Rain Record in September, the highest number of days in at least 10 years, Delhi base station recorded 230% of the expensive rainfall this month.
With the rainy season ended on Thursday, Safdarjung saw a wetted monsoon in 57 this time with 1,169.7mm rainfall.
Data from the Indian Meteorology Department showed Safdarjung received 413.3mm rainfall in September compared to 125.1mm normal rainfall.

Apart from the arrival of the rainy season on July 13, the city received 507.1mm rainfall in July, a rain surplus of 141%.
Only with 34.8 mm rainfall, June sees a 47% deficit.
Although August was in a 13% deficit, it still recorded the rainfall of 214.5mm.
September again accepts excess rain.
“Except Gulab Cyclone, all rainy season systems affect the north-west region towards good rainfall,” said an official met.
After the arrival of the late Monsun, the withdrawal is likely to be delayed.
“Delhi has exceeded the date of the normal withdrawal of Monsun September 24,” said RK Jenamani, a senior scientist at the IMD.
The IMD has predicted the withdrawal of monsoons from several parts of northwestern India from around October 6.
However, a full official said the rainy season was expected to withdraw from Delhi after October 6.
The meeting department predicted very light rain for the next four.
