Rajkot: Saurashtra University Psychology Department (SU), since the beginning of the pandemic, has conducted 112 surveys and publishes it.
The university department while counseling people during pandemics also studied and analyzed psychological changes in their lives.
The Su Department conducts one survey every five days.
Over the past 15 months, 50 students and four faculty members advised more than 81,000 people and based on their published interactions.
Head of the Yogesh Department Jogsan said, “Because the pandemic people face psychological problems and physical problems.
The purpose of our survey is to understand the problems faced by people and create awareness about it in society.” This activity also gave students practical knowledge, added Jogsan.
Some of the main problems faced by people who emerge from this study include mass hysteria, side effects of online education, post-traumatic stress disorders among covid survivors, social media effects in children, social stigma and vaccinophobia for some.
