Ghaziabad: Police Ghaziabad captured the Uttar Pradesh Police Sub-Inspector on Saturday for allegedly defeating a female dancer in a party Divide on Thursday.
The four friends, who are also at parties, fled, police said.
Sub-inspectors are produced before the judge later on and released with a guarantee.
Sub-inspectors have been identified as Jitendra Kumar Gautam.
He was deployed at the Dasna Chowki under the jurisdiction of the Masuri police station.
Complaints against sub-inspectors and four friends are registered by Imraan, cleaners in the Dasna Chowki, on Saturday.
According to FIRMAAN, sub-inspectors organized the party on the tenth floor of Dev Heights, a housing community in Dasna.
The house allegedly belonged to Kuldeep Sharma, a friend of Sub-Inspector.
Kuldeep and three others, Shakeel, Taja Mohmmad alias Tajji and Gulfaam, allegedly attended the party.
Sub-inspectors have also employed two female dancers for the party, said Imraan’s complaint.
“I received a telephone call from the sub-inspector and he asked me to be at a party for some work.
Jitendra gave me Rs 1,000 and asked me to go and buy beer for the guests.
When I arrived in a flat after buying a beer, one of them Dancers came to me and asked me to drop it at his house.
He also told me that the police and his friends beat him and behave badly with him, “Imraan said in his complaint.
Imraan also accused when he entered the flat, he found that his sub-inspectors and friends were naughty with other dancers.
When he opposed, Jitendra and his friends allegedly beat him and he had to escape from the place.
“The defendant chased me and Jitendra shouted that he would kill me.
Tajji, along with other people, came and threatened my parents, said he would kill each in my family,” said Imraan.
IRAJ Raja, SP (rural), told TOI that on the basis of Imraan’s complaint, a pine was registered against sub-inspectors and four friends under Section 147 (riots), 323 (punishment for voluntary causing injury) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation ) IPC.
“Other friends fled right now.
We have suspended and the department’s investigation has demanded it.
Further actions will be taken on the basis of the department’s investigation,” King said.
