Agra: The body of the Subordin of the 45-year-old Army, Shyamveer Singh, who died of a heart attack on Wednesday on Wednesday at Ladakh, arrived in his home village, Malupur in Agra on Thursday night.
The last rite was done late at night.
Speaking with Toi, Singh Yashvendra Singh’s nephew said that they had received a call on Wednesday morning – around 5am, two and a half hours after his death.
“My uncle has taken premature pensions to spend time with his family.
His wife suffered from heart disease and he would retire in December this year,” he said, adding that his daughter Poornima chased BSC and Son Harsh had cleared the XII exam.
“He has planned to shift to his village from the city where his family is currently living.
He spends money on the construction of a new house.
He died before moving,” Yashvendra said.
Singh survived by four siblings.
