Varanasi: Subhash Mahotsav six days, organized by Vishal Bharat Sanshan, began on Friday with a parade in Lamahi Village to mark the 125th anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
Following the Covid-19 protocol, March Subhash was marked by a senior official RSS Indresh Kumar.
Speaking on that occasion, he said the government behind Azad formed by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was the first government recognized when the independence flag was appointed on December 30, 1943, he said.
Secretary General VBS said that activities such as poetry recitals, painting competitions, devotional song programs, seminars will be held during Mahotsav.
