Varanasi: The former Circle Bhelupur officer and Deputy Deputy Police Supervisory (DSP) Amaresh Baghel on Thursday was sent to the judicial detention 14 days after his arrest of Barabanki on Wednesday night.

Police Commissioner Satish Ganesh said, “After his arrest, Baghel was ordered below Section 193 (deliberately providing false evidence in each stage of the justice process), 218 (incorrect public employees or wrote with intention), 219 (public portsmant, corrupt or evil Make or say in each stage of the justice process, each report, order, verdict, or decision that he knows contrary to the law) and 306 (suicide reduction) IPC in the case registered by Inspector Lanka Mahesh Pandey.
